Asparagus is one of my favorite veggies to use in a variety of dishes. This quick side dish is in done on the grill, but can be can also be done on the stove top or in the oven. It is great paired with grilled chicken or salmon.
Grilled Garlic Lemon Asparagus
1 pound bunch of asparagus
1 tablespoon fresh chopped garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
sea salt & pepper
Wash asparagus and trim the ends. Put asparagus in a shallow dish and drizzle with olive olive, add garlic, and the juice of one lemon. Season with sea salt and pepper to taste and mix till evenly coated. Grill over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes, or to desired tenderness.
