Game Day Eats

We are heading into Superbowl weekend! Of course in my world it means a reason to cook and eat! lol Through eating clean and doing 21 Day Fix I have really learned that you can entertain with healthy food and have some really happy guests! Even the people that scoff at healthy eating will be satisfied. I have a pretty hard bunch to cook for. A son who is 6’4″ and lots of men who like to eat and a group of people who think healthy eating means no flavor or “weird tasting”.  Nothing puts a smile on my face more when I see them all eating healthy clean food I prepared and not realizing it! Touchdown!!

Below is a sample spread I did for a gathering at my house. It included loaded baked potatoes, lemon rosemary meatball bites, buffalo chicken bites, bean taco dip, chocolate fruit dip and ranch dip. This was served with assorted fruit, veggies, tortilla chips and some guacamole (recipe links for this items are below).  All my guests had a great time and were surprised when I told them all the food was clean and healthy! Best of all… these items are all 21 Day Fix approved!

Below are some of my picks for your Superbowl party weekend. I hope you enjoy these recipes and try them out at your next game day gathering or party!

Healthy Pepperoni Rolls – Make this ahead, slice them up and serve with warm marinara

Buffalo Chicken Bites – These breaded chicken bites take the place of wings. The men in my family like them even more because they are boneless and bite size! Serve them with sliced celery sticks and ranch veggie dip posted below

Lemon Rosemary Meatballs – These versatile meatballs are not only great in soups and other dishes, but also wonderful served as an appetizer. Place them on a plate, stick toothpicks in them and served with your favorite dipping sauce!

Loaded Baked Potatoes – This recipe is great because you can make these bite size! I cut the potatoes in bite size wedges after cooking for a appetizer

Healthy Deviled Eggs – You will not miss the mayo in these healthy deviled eggs! Made with hummus, even family that doesn’t care for hummus love these!

Bean Taco Dip – Quick, easy and healthy bean dip is a great munchie for the game

Buffalo Chicken Dip – Here is the classic game day dip updated to be clean and 21 Day Fix approved!

Ranch Veggie Dip – This homemade ranch is a wonderful alternate to the store bought ones with high fat and additives. Best part is, your guest will love it!

Chocolate Fruit Dip – This quick dip is wonderful for fruits or graham crackers.

Double Chocolate Brownie Bites – This chocolatey little bites of heaven are a great dessert without the guilt!

Unbaked Cookies – Classic unbaked cookies made clean! you can even shape them into footballs 🙂
