I feel like all I want to post about this recipe is we love Buffalo Chicken Dip. The End.
Lol… seriously, we do! It is my son’s favorite dip and flavor. He orders pizza, salads, gets pretzels, burritos, sandwiches and more all in Buffalo chicken flavor. I knew I would have to make a cleaner version for him of the infamous dip. I make this recipe using my own homemade ranch veggie dip, but you can use store bought Greek yogurt ranch dip. You will have to be careful of ingredients and sugar though, it would change how you would count it on 21 Day Fix and might not be the cleanest option. We have now made this almost weekly in my house since the beginning of fall. This is a fantastic dip for football games, parties or just because. I don’t even tell people it is cleaner and the bowl is always practically licked clean. It is a winner!
Buffalo Chicken Dip
1 1/2 cups shredded chicken
1/2 cup ranch dip (or use store bought Greek yogurt ranch dip….21 Day Fixers: watch sugar & make sure it is full Greek yogurt!)
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese (I use cheddar)
1/3 cup organic cream cheese – softened
1/4 cup hot sauce (I used Franks red hot but you can use another product to taste)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a medium mixing bowl blend together ranch dip and cream cheese. Add in chicken, shredded cheese and hot sauce. Spread in small baking dish and bake until heated through and bubbly, about 15-20 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips, celery or crackers.
**In the photo I sprinkled the top with some diced up dried chives for a little color and pop of flavor.
